Good used Laser at a good price
If anyone is interested, I looked at a boat this weekend (it's a '99,
#167336) that is lightly used and in excellent condition, it's lavender with a white bottom. It has the new controls and vang and a lightly used Hyde sail (doesn't have the hull number on it), a Seitech dolly in very good shape but no covers or blade bag. The hull is very clean, minimal wear and no big scratches or anything on the bottom. It belongs to a friend of mine whose son outgrew it (he's now 6'9" 240# and rowing for Williams) so he got out of the boat pretty quickly. The boat is in Warren and available to view (if I was smart I would have taken a picture while I was there). Anyhow, I think he's asking $3,000 for it, that's a good price (I think) for a minimally used boat, if you're interested you can get in touch with me or with the owner, Duncan Skinner
